Rehearsal will be on Wednesdays, starting November 28 from 4:00 - 7:00 through January 16, 2019. We will have a full day on Friday, December 21st from 9:00 - 5:00 and January 5th from 10:00 - 2:00... Also, please hold open December 28th for a full day rehearsal if we see we need to add a practice.

Our Teachers:
Amanda Blaire Thompson
Amanda Blaire Thompson is a native of Raleigh, NC who grew up performing in musical and drama productions with her school, church and local community theaters. She taught music at Orange Christian School and Trinity Christian School in the Orlando, FL area. Blaire moved back to Raleigh to help start Journey Church where she has lead worship for the Kids Community for the past eight years.

Gail Stephenson
With over 35 years in administration, business ownership and event planning, Gail comes to Raleigh ACT with the experience needed to make sure that parents and students are informed and everything is organized for a smooth operation. She is the oldest of six children, grew up in Cary and is the mother of three and grandmother to seven. Gail was the Ministry Director for a large church Children’s Ministry in the Raleigh Area and has a genuine love for children of all ages. As Blaire’s Mom, she also has a vested interest in the success of Raleigh ACT!

Paula Bass
Paula Bass is a native of Raleigh, NC, where she fell in love with theatre and performance at a young age. She has worked as an actor, dancer and director for over 30 years with community theatre, schools and churches. Paula is thrilled to be with Raleigh ACT as Assistant Director where she shares her love for the arts as she teaches and encourages your children!

Amanda Rae Melody
Amanda grew up with a love of the stage. She spent much of her childhood performing in musical theater. She has toured nationally and internationally with acting and musical theater groups, and has performed in many musical theater productions over the years. Amanda has also written and directed and choreographed shows for both children and adults to perform in local community theaters and churches. Amanda is truly thankful for the theater as it is also where she met her husband! Together, they are raising their three very dramatic daughters, which Amanda has the privilege of homeschooling! She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her passion for performance and theater to the next generation of actors!
