ABOUT OUR CAMPS

 Our camps are intense sessions of music, drama, role play, set design/construction, art and games. There will be time for individual instruction. The sessions will end with the participants performing the play they have worked on over the course of the camp. The performances will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday at the conclusion of camp.

One Week SummerCamps

Footloose!

Footloose celebrates the exhilaration of youth, the wisdom of listening to one another, and the power of forgiveness. A one-hour version of the explosive musical specially designed for young performers! 

Elementary (1-8th grade) Camp Dates:

June 13-17th (waitlist)

Middle School (6-9th grade) Camp Dates:

8:00am - 5:30pm cost is $270

9:00am - 4:00pm cost is $220

Camp Cabaret and Improv

Students will work together to create large and small group Musical Theatre numbers for the end of week Cabaret performance.  When they are not rehearsing onstage, students will work with an Improv teacher to sharpen their improv skills

July 11-22nd Camp will be held at our studio from 9-4:00 every day.  July 25-28th we will have tech rehearsal in the evenings at the performance venue (tbd).   Performances will be the 29th-31st.

Surfing songs in the style of the famous Beach Boys, the Ventures, and other beach music bands give this one-act musical comedy endless energy and fun.  An Italian immigrant’s Surfin’ Burger restaurant sits on one of California’s best beachfronts.  But his dream of owning a restaurant in America is about to be shattered.  Not only are his granddaughters becoming too American for Luigi’s tastes, but scheming land developers try to steal his property to build a huge hotel on it.  Filled with both hijinks and heart, audiences will cheer as Luigi is able to thwart the developers thanks to the help of his daughter, granddaughters, their surfer friends, and a bird-watching society.

 MORE INFO: 

During each of our camps we work on a production and perform it the last Friday & Saturday of camp. We play drama/theater games, learn music, learn script and choreography.  We also work on character development, set and props. What to bring to class each day:

 

  • Bound Script with students name on it

  • Sharpened Pencil and eraser

  • Bottle Water

  • Lunch that does not need to be refrigerated

  • (2) Snacks for break


Class sizes are limited and fill up quickly. To reserve your child’s spot, please complete our registration form and mail in along with a $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to our studio address.  Though the deposit is non-refundable, it is applied to the total cost of the camp. Space is not confirmed until we receive this deposit.  You will receive a confirmation email once the deposit is received. Camp fee balance is due on or before the first day of camp.

  • Ages: 1st – 8th grade

  • Monday-Friday – Instruction time is from 9am-4pm. Other time is considered childcare to accommodate parents who work.

  • 8:00am-5:30pm cost is $260 plus $10 T-shirt fee for all new students or those that need a new one

  • 9:00am-4:00pm cost is $210 plus $10 T-shirt fee for all new students or those that need a new one 

  • Track Out Camp Friday Night performance at 6pm 

  • Summer Camp Friday Night performance at 6pm

MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL Summer Camp Session - Two Week Camp - NO experience needed

 

  • Ages: Middle School (Rising 5th-9th grades)  High School (Rising 8th-12th grades)

  • Monday-Friday – Instruction time is from 9am-4pm. Other time is considered childcare to accommodate parents who work.

  • 8:00am-5:30pm cost is $475 plus $10 T-shirt fee for all new students or those that need a new one 

  • 9:00am-4:00pm cost is $375 plus $10 T-shirt fee for all new students or those that need a new one 

  • Thursday Night performance at 6pm

  • Friday Night performance at 6pm
